Well, fall is officially here... which means that this year's man-made global warming season is also over until next year. Locally, we did not experience any man-made global warming as we set no record high temperatures... in fact, the local high temperatures for dates this year were set anywhere from a decade ago (back before Algore became a priest) to a hundred years ago (before anyone heard of the phrase "man-made global warming"... or central air-conditioning).

For guys like me, despite living on an island (technically, on a peninsula of an island) going to the beaches that surround me is a rarity... but now that fall temps have arrived the puppy may get different places to go walk... like the beach at the south end of our island.

This morning, though, the doors to the house are open to allow the cool morning air in the house. We are enjoying our coffee while watching a romantic comedy movie on the wide-screen TV... "Must Love Dogs"; it's really good, although I am not a big fan of the romantic comedy as a rule. The rest of the day... hopefully nice and slow...
